Our Work

Below you will find a few of the many causes VIA and its supporters have successfully taken upon themselves. Wherever there was a need, hundreds of volunteers stepped up to ensure they were met.

Although we promote the old Chinese proverb “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime,” we understand many of our communities need support in the midst of their struggles.

We rally our supporters to raise funds for various causes that addresses the misfortunes of those in poverty stricken areas, and we attempt to alleviate their burdens to the best of our ability. We engage in food drives, toy drives, assistance to the homeless, community garden projects, and much more!

Unfortunately communities and individuals are introduced to issues that they were simply financially unprepared for. Whether it be an individual having a family member passing or if a community itself is devastated from an unprecedented event, we rally our team and raise awareness on the cause so those affected are not burdened by financial hardships. With medical assistance being the most common, numerous urgent needs have been brought to our attention, and our resources were diverted to address these needs.

Baby Sawyer was born with clubbed feet which could cause various complications unless addressed. In turn, the community rallied together, and were able to secure $10,000 to ensure she could see a renowned specialist to have surgery. The surgery was a success!

If we seek a vibrant and fruitful future, we must ensure the next generation has the knowledge and tools required for innovation. In many instances for those with less oppurtunity, their most needed tool is funding.

Kyaria was an excelling student from a small rural town. She had big dreams, and was able to attend a prestigious medical university. Unfortunately, she ran into bureaucratic issues in the financial aid office and was at risk of losing her admission after her first semester. The community stepped up and managed to  raise $9,000 to pay for her tuition!

Too many times have we seen communities devastated by natural disasters in which those affected lost everything, and feel they are deemed forgotten.

In early 2019, the Mid-West was ravaged by flooding and tornadoes. Our supporters felt a sense of urgency, and stepped up by offering financial assistance to those who lost everything in these unfortunate natural disasters. We managed to raise thousands and proceeded to send the donations to local non-profits engaged in relief efforts. In late 2019 Australia experienced devastating bushfires that laid waste to the outback. Our supporters managed to raise $15,000 in less than a week and proceeds were designated to both human and animal organizations.

And the journey continues...
